Seashell Picture Frame
I really enjoy collecting shells when I make it to the beach. Here's a nice way to use them.
What you need:
Frame: I get some nice wood ones from Hobby Lobby that look like driftwood
Hot glue gun
Clear coat, glossy
It's like a puzzle, use your shells to piece together what looks best. The seashells hot glue really well to the frame. I've had mine for 5 years and its survived 3 moves as well, with none of the shells coming loose. Once you have all your shells glued down, than use a glossy clear coat such as Modge Podge or what I have is a special gloss that's similar to what is used for pottery but doesn't need to be kilned.
